Thmanyah Launches Digital Platform and Satellite Channels to Broadcast Saudi Football Tournaments Until 2031

Riyadh – August 8, 2025: Thmanyah, the official broadcaster of Saudi football tournaments until 2031 and a subsidiary of the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), has unveiled its new digital platform and satellite TV channels, marking a significant step towards transforming the viewing experience across the Arab world. The launch brings exclusive coverage of premier Saudi sports tournaments, complemented by a rich lineup of cultural and entertainment programming.
For the current season, fans can enjoy free, high-quality streaming of all Saudi Super Cup, Roshn League, King’s Cup, and Yelo League matches—available exclusively on the Thmanyah App, its satellite channels on Arabsat and Nilesat, and through the JACO App—ensuring broad access across Saudi Arabia and the wider Arab region.
The Thmanyah App will be available for download starting August 13 on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV, and Samsung and LG smart TVs. The official launch of the satellite channel is set for August 28, coinciding with the Roshn Saudi League opener. The Saudi Super Cup will be broadcast from August 19 to 23 as part of the channel’s trial phase.
Thmanyah has also introduced subscription packages starting at SAR 58 per month, offering 50fps ultra-smooth video quality, in-depth analysis studios, access to an exclusive content library, real-time match statistics, and more—available on both the Thmanyah App and Thmanyah Radio.
The channel’s on-air team features leading sports personalities from the region, including Nawaf Al-Temyat and Obaidallah Al-Eisi from Saudi Arabia, Tarek Dhiab from Tunisia, and Hamed Al-Harthy from the UAE, alongside renowned commentators Fares Aouad, Fahad Al-Otaibi, and Khaled Al-Arafa.
Beyond live match coverage, Thmanyah offers a comprehensive sports archive, original sports documentaries, and over eight new sports programs, as well as a diverse range of content spanning more than 30 areas of interest—including comedy through “Mokhraj Thmanyah” and lifestyle features through “Maeesha Thmanyah.” Dedicated Thmanyah Sports social media channels have also been launched to deliver real-time coverage of sporting events.
