Rewa Closes Seed Round and Launches Rent Payment Rewards App in the UAE

UAE-based PropTech startup Rewa has closed an undisclosed Seed funding round, backed by Qatar Development Bank, Plug and Play, Neocity Invest, Startup Wise Guys, and Second Century Ventures.

The announcement coincides with the official launch of Rewa’s digital app for rent payments and rewards across the UAE.

Key highlights include:

  • Closing an undisclosed Seed funding round supported by leading startup backers.
  • Official launch of a digital platform enabling tenants to pay rent while earning loyalty rewards.
  • Expansion plans starting in Dubai, followed by the rest of the UAE and future entry into GCC markets.

The newly secured funding will support Rewa’s expansion across Dubai and the wider UAE, as the company prepares for regional expansion into GCC markets. Plans also include opening new offices, expanding the team, and strengthening its partner network and loyalty programs.

Founded in 2024 by Ramzi Mnaimneh and Najib Khanafar, Rewa enables tenants to pay rent via bank cards or bank transfers, while earning loyalty points redeemable with more than 150 partners across travel, dining, retail, grocery, and lifestyle sectors.

In the future, these points may also be used to pay rent or utility services, or even support housing-related goals with select real estate developers in the UAE.
