QuicKart Raises $1.5 Million Seed Round Led by Orbit Ventures to Strengthen Fresh Produce Supply Chains in the UAE

UAE-based fresh produce platform QuicKart has raised $1.5 million in a Seed funding round led by Orbit Ventures, with participation from angel investors and family offices.

Currently operating in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, and preparing to launch in Abu Dhabi, the company plans to deploy the new capital toward enhancing supply chain technologies, strengthening its logistics infrastructure, accelerating direct-to-home deliveries, and expanding its network of local partner farms.

QuicKart’s model is built on connecting households directly with local farms, delivering fresh products such as milk, cheeses, and vegetables within hours of harvest, eliminating multiple intermediaries in traditional distribution channels. This approach enables farmers to improve market access while supporting the UAE’s growing focus on local food security.

The company stated that the new funding will also support the business and restaurant sector by supplying cloud kitchens with fresh food products through a direct model that ensures quality from source to end customer.
