Qatar-Based ShipBee Raises $500K Seed Round Led by GrowthX Capital

ShipBee, a Qatar-based logistics technology company specializing in international transport and digital logistics solutions, has announced the closing of a $500,000 Seed funding round, led by GrowthX Capital, founded by entrepreneur Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri.
Founded in 2024 by Tamer Raafat and Amer Azzani, ShipBee offers an integrated platform for both local and international logistics services. The platform includes a digital logistics marketplace, dedicated apps for users and drivers, as well as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that enable businesses to manage shipping operations more efficiently.
The company has experienced rapid growth through strategic collaborations with leading industry players, including Qatar Post, DHL, and NEXX, a Chinese company specializing in AI-powered logistics solutions, alongside several local service providers and retail partners.
ShipBee’s innovative business model has also gained strong recognition within the regional innovation ecosystem. The company won first place in the Qatar Development Bank Transportation Technology Innovation Hackathon, and received support from Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) and the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) through the eighth edition of the Creative Ideas Camp program.
According to the company, the newly secured funding will play a key role in accelerating its strategic initiatives, particularly in enhancing its technology infrastructure and expanding its team. The company also plans to integrate advanced AI-driven solutions to improve platform efficiency and elevate the overall user experience.
