Pasqal in Talks to Raise $237 Million at Over $1 Billion Pre-Money Valuation

French quantum computing startup Pasqal SAS is in discussions to raise $237 million in a new funding round that could value the company at more than $1 billion pre-money, according to reporting by Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Headquartered in Paris, Pasqal provides full-stack quantum computing solutions, offering both hardware and software. The company develops quantum processors using neutral atom technology, an approach researchers believe has strong scaling potential and allows for flexible qubit arrangements to enhance performance.
Pasqal was co-founded by Alain Aspect, the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics laureate, underscoring the company’s strong scientific foundation.
Sources indicated that the deal has not yet been finalized and terms may still change. Pasqal operates as a comprehensive quantum computing company, delivering integrated solutions across this emerging technological field.
The funding discussions reflect growing investor interest in advanced technologies, particularly quantum computing, which is widely viewed as a transformative field capable of solving highly complex computational problems beyond the reach of classical computers.
The company is also deploying quantum units in major data centers and collaborating with global cloud platforms such as Azure Quantum and Google Marketplace, expanding access to its technology for research and industrial applications.
