Nvidia & Meta Expand AI Alliance with Multi-Year Chip Deal

Nvidia has announced a sweeping multi-year agreement with Meta Platforms to supply millions of artificial intelligence chips for Meta’s AI data centers, including standalone Grace CPUs and next-generation Vera Rubin systems.
The expanded partnership significantly broadens the technological collaboration between the two Silicon Valley giants, moving beyond GPUs into full-stack data center infrastructure.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated:
“to deliver personal superintelligence to everyone in the world,”
Key Highlights:
- Millions of AI chips to power Meta’s AI data centers
- First large-scale deployment of Nvidia Grace CPUs as standalone chips
- Adoption of next-generation Vera Rubin systems
- Planned deployment of Vera CPUs in 2027
- Expansion of long-standing Nvidia-Meta collaboration
Financial terms were not disclosed. However, chip analyst Ben Bajarin of Creative Strategies noted the deal is likely “in the tens of billions of dollars,” with a substantial portion of Meta’s capital expenditure expected to support this Nvidia build-out.
The agreement marks Nvidia’s deeper expansion into the CPU market, with Meta becoming the first company to deploy Grace CPUs independently at scale in its data centers.
