Morocco’s Tamwilcom Launches $69M Startup Venture Building Program to Support 800 Startups

Moroccan public financing institution Tamwilcom has launched a $69 million Startup Venture Building program, designed to support 800 startups over the next three years.

The program is built on a structured venture building model, offering founders monthly financial stipends, prototype development funding, and financing tools including loans of up to MAD 2 million.

It will also provide hands-on operational support across the full startup lifecycle, with a strong focus on connecting startups with established corporates to enable commercial partnerships and faster revenue generation.

Participants will benefit from an integrated ecosystem supported by both local and international partners, including Technopark, CEED Maroc, Flat6Labs, and 500 Global.

In a statement, the institution described the initiative as a reflection of:
“Morocco’s broader strategy to strengthen its startup infrastructure, build a scalable pipeline of high-growth companies, and position the country as a leading innovation hub in Africa.”
