Massive $250M Funding Pushes Replit’s Valuation to $3 Billion, Fuels Global Expansion
FOSTER CITY, Calif., Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Replit, the fastest-growing agentic AI software creation platform, today announced the closing of its $250 million Series C funding round, valuing the company at $3 billion — nearly tripling its valuation since 2023.
This new funding comes after explosive revenue growth, with Replit scaling annualized revenue from $2.8 million to $150 million in less than a year — a 50x increase — powered by a global community of more than 40 million users.
The round was led by Prysm Capital, with participation from Amex Ventures, Google’s AI Futures Fund, YC, Craft, a16z, Coatue, and Paul Graham.
Replit stated that the fresh capital will be used to scale operations, accelerate product development, and expand globally, while continuing its mission of enabling anyone to build applications using natural language.
Building on its customer momentum, Replit also unveiled Agent 3, its most autonomous AI agent to date. Agent 3 is ten times more autonomous than its predecessors, capable of testing and fixing code, building custom agents, and automating complex workflows. Unlike earlier assistants, Agent 3 acts as a true collaborator, working up to 200 minutes on human-level tasks and providing developers with a seamless co-pilot experience.
