Lovable Surpasses $400M in Annual Recurring Revenue

Swedish AI app-building platform Lovable has surpassed $400 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) as of February, highlighting the rapid growth of tools that enable software development through artificial intelligence.

The Stockholm-based company is among a new wave of platforms focused on “vibe coding,” a development approach that allows users to build applications and websites using natural language prompts instead of traditional coding.

Rapid revenue acceleration

Lovable’s revenue growth has accelerated significantly over the past months:

  • $100M ARR in July
  • $200M ARR in November
  • $300M ARR in January
  • $400M ARR in February

The milestone demonstrates strong demand for AI-powered development tools, even as major AI labs continue launching competing coding technologies.

Expanding into enterprise clients

While Lovable initially gained traction among individual creators and startups, the company has increasingly focused on attracting enterprise customers.

Its client list already includes companies such as:

  • Klarna
  • HubSpot

To support enterprise adoption, Lovable has introduced dedicated features—particularly security-related capabilities—to ensure businesses can use the platform beyond simple prototyping.

Millions of users

The company has grown rapidly since launch, attracting around 8 million users and achieving unicorn status in less than a year.

Co-founder and CEO Anton Osika stated during Web Summit last November:

"More than half of Fortune 500 companies are using Lovable to supercharge creativity."

New brand campaign

Lovable has also launched its first brand campaign titled “Earworm,” running across social media platforms, YouTube, and connected TV.

The film follows a woman who cannot get a song out of her head until she eventually opens Lovable and turns the idea into a working application.

A company spokesperson told TechCrunch:

"The purpose of this brand campaign is to inspire the next generation of builders — non-technical people with great ideas that deserve to come to life."

High productivity per employee

Lovable reached the $400M ARR milestone with only 146 full-time employees, according to Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Meadows.

The company recently opened a larger office in Stockholm with capacity for 300 employees and is currently hiring in:

  • Boston
  • London
  • New York
  • San Francisco

With $2.77M ARR per employee, Lovable already exceeds forecasts suggesting future unicorn startups could reach $2M ARR per employee by 2030.
