KNOT Technologies Secures $1M Pre-Seed to Scale AI-Driven Smart Ticketing Solutions

KNOT Technologies raised a USD 1 million Pre-Seed round led by A15 to scale its AI-driven ticketing and access control infrastructure. Founded in 2025 by Ahmed Abdalla and Hussein ElBendak, the startup tackles long-standing challenges in ticketing, including fraud, resale leaks, and lack of demand visibility.

The platform uses an AI layer that authenticates identity, governs ticket distribution, and tracks demand in real time, helping event organizers limit unauthorized transfers and foster transparent relationships with attendees.

Co-founder and CEO Ahmed Abdalla said:

“Ticketing has become a financial black hole, with value leaking into unregulated channels and no modern tools to prevent it. Organizers lack visibility and control and fans are paying the price. That is why we started KNOT, to unlock real economic value and rebuild trust between businesses and their customers.”

The funding will support product development, international expansion, and deeper integration with partners across the live events ecosystem, aiming to become the infrastructure layer powering the next generation of events.
