Jordan’s Alefredo EdTech Acquires UK-Based Tutor House for $600,000

Alefredo EdTech, the Jordan-based education technology company, has announced its acquisition of UK-based Tutor House Ltd for $600,000, as part of its strategy to expand across Europe and the Middle East.

Alefredo offers interactive mock exams, teacher summaries, past papers, and educational resources through its platform, covering major international curricula. The company initially started as a marketplace for used books before evolving into a comprehensive digital library for international curricula and educational content.

The acquisition aims to build an integrated education platform that combines digital content with private tutoring services, through the integration of Alefredo’s digital curricula library with Tutor House’s network of tutors and private lessons.

Founded in 2012, Tutor House focuses on private tutoring services and was previously acquired by UAE-based Oktopi in 2022.

Alefredo EdTech was founded in 2020 in Jordan by Ahmad Fareed Al Saif, and later expanded its operations to the United Arab Emirates.
