Abwaab Acquires Apex Education to Strengthen Elite College Admissions Across the Region
Abwaab, the leading education platform across the Arab world, today announced its acquisition of Apex Education, a startup focused on elite college admissions.
The acquisition underscores Abwaab’s commitment to advancing educational excellence and unlocking student potential across the MENA region, spanning early learning, higher education, and beyond.
Founded in 2019 by Leila Hassan (University of Oxford), Hussein Elkheshen (University of Chicago), and Mohamed Ebied (Harvard University), and led by Leila since inception, Apex was established to support students and families in navigating admissions to the world’s most competitive universities through expert guidance.
