InfiniLink Secures $10 Million to Advance Optical Communication Chips for AI Data Centers

InfiniLink, the Egyptian startup specializing in semiconductor technology and advanced optical communication chips for AI data centers, has successfully closed a $10 million Seed funding round.
Global company MediaTek participated in the round alongside Sukna Ventures, Egypt Ventures, and angel investment firm M Empire Angels.
This funding will enable the company to advance its mission of transforming data center connectivity with expertise in mixed-signal analog and photonics.
Founded in 2022, InfiniLink is developing advanced technology called "Integrated Optical Transceiver Chips for Silicon Photonics" (iOTC), enhancing data center communication with energy-efficient and high-speed data transmission capabilities.
Led by CEO Ahmed Aboul-Ella, InfiniLink is a semiconductor startup building chips focused on high-speed connectivity.
It is developing ultra-high-speed SerDes and Optical Transceiver chiplets using Silicon and Si-Photonics technologies.
