Fika Jobs Raises $4 Million to Reinvent Hiring Through AI-Powered Interviews

Fika Jobs, the Swedish HRTech startup, has raised $4 million in a Pre-Seed funding round led by Luminar Ventures, with participation from more than 20 venture funds and angel investors, including Alliance VC, as well as Sebastian Knutsson and Riccardo Zacconi, co-founders of King, the studio behind Candy Crush.
Founded by brothers Jakob Dubois and Alexander Dubois, the company is focused on reinventing the hiring process through artificial intelligence, aiming to streamline recruitment for both job seekers and employers.
The platform enables candidates to complete a 10-minute interview with an AI agent, after which the system automatically generates a professional profile featuring short video highlights that showcase candidates' skills, experience, ambitions, and professional values.
Once published, the profile can be matched with both current and future job opportunities, reducing the need for repeated job applications while helping employers discover candidates who are better aligned with open positions.
For employers, Fika Jobs provides access to candidates who have already completed initial AI interviews, offering deeper insights into their skills, motivations, and career goals. The platform also removes personal identifiers such as age, gender, and ethnicity during the matching process to support fairer hiring decisions. Companies only pay when a successful hire is made.
During its pilot phase in 2025, the platform was adopted by more than 50 companies, attracting thousands of candidates and resulting in multiple successful hires.
The company plans to use the newly secured funding to further develop its platform, expand its team, and prepare for a broader commercial launch later this year.
