ElevenLabs Launches the World’s First Insurance Policy for AI Voice Agents Backed by AIUC-1

In a significant shift in the enterprise AI landscape, ElevenLabs has launched the world’s first insurance policy covering AI voice agents, becoming the first company to go live with an AIUC-1-backed insurance policy.
The coverage is enabled through AIUC-1 certification from the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company, a rigorous process subjecting AI systems to over 5,000 adversarial simulations across security, safety, reliability, data privacy, and accountability.
ElevenAgents powers more than 3 million voice agents globally, deployed across customer support, sales, scheduling, and other mission-critical workflows. The technology is used by employees at more than 75% of Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco, Square, Revolut, and MasterClass.
For the first time, AI voice agents — and their operational actions — can now be insured just like any human employee.
AIUC-1: A New Standard for AI Risk Management
ElevenLabs Agents underwent 5,835 technical tests across 14 risk categories, validating their robustness for enterprise-scale deployment.
The certification evaluates systems against documented real-world AI failure scenarios, including hallucinations, prompt injection attacks, data leakage, security vulnerabilities, and accountability concerns — generating the empirical risk profiles insurers require to underwrite AI systems.
With this milestone, enterprises can now insure AI-related operational risks, accelerating AI adoption from pilot programs to production-grade deployment.
