AlBalad AlAmeen and Sary Sign Partnership to Launch Unified Digital Platform for Food Supply Chain Management in Makkah

AlBalad AlAmeen, the investment arm of the Holy Makkah Municipality, represented by AlBalad AlAmeen Technologies, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Sary, an information technology company, to establish and activate a unified digital platform for organizing food supply chains in Makkah. The initiative aims to enhance the reliability of services provided to the Hajj and Umrah sectors and strengthen operational readiness during peak seasons.
The agreement seeks to launch an integrated digital ecosystem for managing and regulating food supply operations, enabling suppliers and catering contractors to manage orders and deliveries within a structured operational framework that supports real-time shipment tracking, improves operational discipline and governance, ensures continuity and quality of food supplies, reduces waste, and accelerates response to on-ground changes.
The platform also provides advanced technological tools for inventory management, supply scheduling, data analytics, and the generation of operational reports and performance indicators, ensuring integration among all relevant stakeholders, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and elevating the quality of services delivered to pilgrims in line with best technical and operational practices.
Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Hattan Tasji, CEO of AlBalad AlAmeen, stated that the agreement aligns with the company’s strategic direction to develop specialized operational platforms supporting vital sectors in Makkah. He noted that the project reflects the company’s investment and development role as the primary investment gateway in the Holy Capital and contributes to building sustainable operating models powered by smart digital solutions.
He added that the platform represents a qualitative step toward enhancing Makkah’s readiness for the Hajj and Umrah seasons through reliable technological frameworks that improve food supply efficiency and service flow, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, while enriching the pilgrims’ experience and overall quality of life in the Holy City.
