Yalla Group to Establish Regional Headquarters in Riyadh

RIYADH: Yalla Group Ltd., the owner of the largest social networking and gaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, has announced a strategic expansion plan in Saudi Arabia through the establishment of its regional headquarters in Riyadh after obtaining all necessary commercial licenses. The move aligns with the Group’s vision to strengthen its regional presence and leverage Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing digital and entertainment ecosystem.
The announcement followed a meeting in Beijing between Yalla’s leadership and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation and the Arab Esports Federation, attended by Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to China. The new headquarters, set to open at Roshn Front in the first half of 2026, will serve as a central hub for managing Yalla’s operations and partnerships across the Kingdom and the wider region.
The facility will enhance Yalla’s engagement with local stakeholders, enable the development of gaming content that reflects Saudi culture, and foster collaboration within the Kingdom’s flourishing entertainment ecosystem.
Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan affirmed that Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its position as a global hub for gaming and digital innovation, noting that Yalla Group’s decision to base its regional headquarters in Riyadh reflects growing international confidence in the Kingdom’s digital economy and its creative ecosystem. He added that the move would enrich the Kingdom’s gaming landscape, create new opportunities for Saudi talent, and support the objectives of Vision 2030 in advancing the digital entertainment sector.
