TruKKer Secures Up to $300M Facility

TruKKer, the UAE-based digital freight and logistics technology platform, has secured a financing facility of up to $300 million through an asset-backed securitization structure supported by its trade receivables portfolio across multiple regional markets.

The transaction reflects a strategic shift by TruKKer toward institutional financing instruments rather than pursuing a new equity funding round. The structure is based on future cash flows generated from the company’s operations, rather than direct corporate guarantees.

The financing is expected to support TruKKer’s expansion across key regional markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, amid continued growth in demand for digital logistics and road freight solutions.

The deal was arranged and fully financed by the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), and structured in compliance with Islamic Murabaha principles. Legal and regulatory frameworks were developed in collaboration with international advisory firms, reflecting the complexity of securitization structures in the logistics sector.

Asset-backed financing enables companies to convert receivables and future cash flows into liquidity instruments without diluting ownership stakes, offering greater financial flexibility to support operational growth.

Founded in 2016, TruKKer has become one of the leading digital road freight platforms across the Middle East and Central Asia. The company leverages artificial intelligence to optimize freight operations, connect shippers with carriers, and improve logistics network efficiency.

It also benefits from expanding regional trade flows and government-backed infrastructure investments, particularly across Gulf markets and Turkey, where digital transformation in logistics is accelerating.

The new financing is expected to strengthen TruKKer’s digital freight network and enhance its operational footprint across core markets. The development also highlights a broader trend among mature technology companies in the region shifting toward structured finance and debt markets as alternatives to traditional venture capital funding.
