Together AI Raises $800 Million Led by Aramco Ventures, Reaching an $8.3 Billion Valuation

Together AI has announced an $800 million Series C funding round led by Aramco Ventures, more than doubling the company's valuation to $8.3 billion, underscoring growing investor confidence in open-source AI infrastructure.
Founded in 2022, Together AI provides a platform that enables enterprises to train and run AI workloads using open-source models such as DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Kimi, offering lower-cost alternatives to closed AI systems.
The funding round also included participation from Vista Equity Partners, General Catalyst, Emergence Capital, Nvidia, Salesforce Ventures, March Capital, Pegatron, and SentinelOne's S Ventures.
The company was previously valued at $3.3 billion in a funding round led by General Catalyst in February 2025, following a valuation of $1.25 billion in March 2024.
Together AI said it will use the new capital to expand its inference offerings, strengthening its position as a provider of AI infrastructure for deploying trained models at scale.
CEO Vipul Ved Prakash said:
"The future of AI won't be owned by a few companies. It will be built by millions of developers and businesses, and open-source models are making that possible."
The company also revealed that its annual bookings exceeded $1.15 billion last quarter, driven by increasing adoption of open-source AI models. Its customer base includes Cursor, Cognition, and Decagon.
Together AI expects to expand its computing capacity and infrastructure by approximately 50 times over the next five years.
