Snoonu Launches Startup Factory to Back Early-Stage Startups with $100K Investment in Sufra AI

Qatar-based super app Snoonu has announced the launch of Snoonu Startup Factory, a new initiative designed to support early-stage founders and accelerate startup growth across Qatar and the wider region.

This launch marks a strategic shift in Snoonu’s role, transitioning from a technology platform into an active venture builder. The programme’s first investment is a $100,000 pre-seed round in Sufra AI, a startup focused on transforming the in-restaurant dining experience through artificial intelligence.

Founded by graduates of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Sufra AI enables diners to access personalized menus via QR codes, offering tailored recommendations, seamless ordering, and integrated payments. The platform also provides restaurants with real-time behavioral insights.

Through Startup Factory, Snoonu aims to go beyond funding by offering:

Mentorship and guidance for founders
Operational expertise
Direct access to market opportunities within its ecosystem

The initiative aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and will be based within the newly established Snoonu Technology Park, positioning it as a hub for innovation and startup development.

With this move, Snoonu joins a growing trend of regional tech companies reinvesting in the ecosystem, acting as both operators and venture builders to support the next generation of startups.
