Saudi-Based RIME Secures Over $2 Million Seed Round to Advance AI-Powered Enterprise Surveillance Solutions

Saudi startup RIME has secured an over $2 million Seed funding round, marking a significant milestone in its mission to expand AIoT-powered surveillance solutions for enterprises and retail businesses.
The investment round was led by SEEDRA Ventures, with participation from Athla Investment, Unity Invest Partners, and a group of angel investors, highlighting strong investor confidence in the company's technology and growth strategy.
RIME specializes in AIoT-powered monitoring solutions, enabling businesses to connect surveillance cameras with AI agents that monitor field operations, process operational data, and generate actionable insights to support better decision-making.
According to the company, its platform currently connects more than 6,000 surveillance cameras with AI agents deployed across over 2,000 operational sites serving retail and service businesses throughout the Gulf region.
Founded in Riyadh in 2024 by Mohammed Almarshidi and Aarif Al Otaibi, RIME is focused on integrating artificial intelligence with enterprise surveillance infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
