Saudi Arabia Launches “Kingdom of Gaming” to Position Riyadh as a Global Hub for the Gaming Industry

Saudi Arabia-based event organizer Tahaluf has officially announced the launch of Kingdom of Gaming, a large-scale global platform designed to unite the world’s most influential game developers, creative studios, publishers, investors, and digital content creators in Riyadh from December 1 to 3, 2026.

The initiative is positioned as a strategic global ecosystem that connects decision-makers and innovators shaping the future of interactive entertainment. The event will take place alongside Black Hat MEA, the world’s largest and most influential cybersecurity gathering, creating a powerful convergence between advanced digital security and the rapidly expanding gaming economy.

With a clear ambition to redefine the global gaming landscape, Kingdom of Gaming aims to position Riyadh as a professional and cultural hub for game development and investment across emerging markets. The event is expected to attract more than 20,000 international visitors, 300 exhibitors and sponsors, and 500 participating studios and developers, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the global entertainment and technology sectors.

In an official statement, Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf, said:
“The Kingdom of Gaming marks Tahaluf’s next mega global brand—a platform built in alignment with Vision 2030 to accelerate the Kingdom’s creative economy. Riyadh is shifting from being a market for games to becoming a place where games are made. By bringing developers, studios, platforms and investors together in one ecosystem, we’re creating the conditions for new intellectual property (IP), new talent, and new opportunities to emerge from Saudi Arabia and scale globally.”

The platform will also welcome more than 50 startups, over 200 global investors, and at least 25 investment and publishing deals. The agenda will include strategic activations, dedicated content districts, professional training sessions, hands-on workshops, and a tailored investor program.

In addition, the event will explore the technological foundations of the gaming industry, highlighting advanced engines, tools, and infrastructure, while celebrating the human capital and creative talent that power the global gaming ecosystem.
