Moadna Raises $50K to Accelerate HealthTech Expansion

Syrian HealthTech startup Moadna has secured $50,000 in an early-stage funding round backed by angel investors, bringing the company’s valuation to $300,000.

Founded by Tariq Shahta and Majed Hamdeh, Moadna provides an integrated digital platform for clinic management and medical appointment booking. According to the company’s press release, the platform currently serves more than 550 doctors, clinics, and medical centers, alongside over 8,000 users, and has processed more than 3,500 digital medical appointments to date.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to enhance its product, strengthen its technical infrastructure, and support commercial expansion ahead of a planned Pre-seed funding round. Moadna is also seeking to reinforce its position in the Syrian market as part of its long-term structural and regional expansion strategy.

Moadna’s system offers healthcare providers a comprehensive solution covering appointment scheduling, patient records, medical visits, billing, revenues and expenses, as well as online booking and direct communication with patients.

Notably, Moadna was among the startups that participated in the Thimar Program for Entrepreneur Support in Syria.
