Knowlix AI Launches AI-Powered Unified Business Platform with Early Expansion Across Africa

Knowlix AI, the Munich-based German startup, has officially launched its AI-powered unified business management platform, designed to automate operational and administrative workflows for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), bringing enterprise-grade software capabilities to companies that have traditionally lacked access to such tools.
Founded by Peter Meier and Francesco Wiedemann, the company aims to help SMBs reduce the time spent on daily administrative tasks through a single platform that consolidates essential business management tools. The global rollout also includes localized support for 29 African countries, including Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
The platform addresses one of the biggest challenges facing SMBs—the high cost and complexity of traditional business management systems—by integrating core business functions into a single solution. These include customer relationship management (CRM), project management, inventory management, and marketing tools, while AI automatically configures the platform according to each company's operational needs within minutes, eliminating complex setup processes.
Knowlix AI also aims to reduce reliance on multiple standalone applications by delivering a connected platform that simplifies daily business operations and improves efficiency.
The platform features an intelligent digital assistant called AI Teammate, capable of handling routine operational tasks such as preparing quotations, converting meeting notes into actionable tasks, and automatically managing inventory reorders.
Despite its extensive automation capabilities, business owners retain full control over sensitive operations, as any critical action requires prior approval. The AI assistant continuously learns each organization's workflows, communication style, and operational preferences, enabling it to manage customer communications, marketing messages, and daily business activities in line with company policies.
From launch, Knowlix AI has prioritized African markets by providing direct support for 29 countries, including localized currencies, tax systems, and accounting standards tailored to each market.
The company says this strategy aligns with GSMA projections that artificial intelligence could contribute up to $2.9 trillion to Africa's economy by 2030.
Knowlix AI enters a competitive market alongside global providers such as Zoho and HubSpot, as well as African startups. However, the company differentiates itself by embedding its AI assistant across every operational workflow rather than offering it as a standalone tool, creating a more integrated business management experience for SMBs.
Co-founder Peter Meier said: "Our goal is to make advanced software accessible to small businesses, giving them competitive capabilities that were previously reserved for large enterprises."
CEO Francesco Wiedemann added: "The platform was designed to reduce the time business owners spend on administrative work, allowing them to focus on growing their businesses."
