Egyptian startup Mrkoon has secured a new investment from A Ventures Group, increasing the group’s stake in the company from 20% to 28%.

Founded in 2022 by Mohamed Shalabi, Ahmed Mamdouh, and Ahmed Amir, Mrkoon offers a digital waste management platform that connects companies looking to dispose of scrap and excess materials with those seeking to acquire them, helping to reduce costs and promote sustainability.

This investment is part of Mrkoon’s plan to expand into Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, aiming to strengthen its regional presence and increase its impact in the waste management market
