Golden Host Closes Seed Funding Round Led by Al-Arabi REIT Investment to Accelerate Smart Hospitality Expansion in Saudi Arabia
Saudi-based platform Golden Host, specialized in smart accommodation and hospitality solutions, has announced the successful closing of a Seed funding round of an undisclosed value, led by Al-Arabi REIT Investment Company, which participated as the lead strategic investor in the round.
The round comes as part of the company's preparation for a new phase of growth, with plans to deploy the funding toward strengthening its operational and technical infrastructure, alongside accelerating its expansion plans within the Saudi market, capitalizing on the continuous growth witnessed by the Kingdom's tourism and hospitality sectors.
Golden Host was founded in Riyadh in 2023, aiming to provide a variety of residential unit options for daily, monthly, or even hourly rental, through an easy and secure booking and rental experience for users.
The closing of the round coincided with a comprehensive restructuring process within the company, which included the formation of a new executive team to lead the upcoming phase, with a focus on raising operational efficiency and developing products and services in line with market needs.
The expansion strategy includes increasing the number of properties listed on the platform, in addition to entering new fields including hotel services and tourist visas, with the aim of providing an integrated user experience that begins with trip planning and continues through to completion.
The company is also working on developing its financial and technical ecosystem by launching new services, including enabling partners to receive their dues within no more than two hours, a step aimed at improving the speed of operations and enhancing the level of trust between the platform and its partners.
The new management is placing artificial intelligence at the core of its development plans, by employing modern technologies to automate operations and improve the user experience, strengthening the platform's ability to keep pace with the accelerating transformations in the hospitality sector.
The startup believes this investment round represents an important milestone in its growth journey, as it will support the expansion of its business and help it attract more customers and partners during the upcoming phase.
