Dubai-based fintech startup COCA has announced a strategic investment from Stellar Development Foundation and FunFair Ventures to accelerate the development of its stablecoin payment solutions.
While the investment amount remains undisclosed, this partnership will strengthen COCA’s position in the digital payments space and expand its capabilities within the Stellar ecosystem.
Since launching in 2023, COCA has quickly grown to serve over one million users with its user-friendly platform that enables stablecoin and cryptocurrency payments without requiring private key management or charging excessive fees.
The company’s payment solution integrates with Stellar’s network to allow users to spend stablecoins at more than 80 million merchants worldwide, while also offering debit cards and international IBAN accounts for everyday financial transactions.
The new funding will support COCA’s geographic expansion and the development of more flexible payment options as the company works to increase mainstream adoption of stablecoins for daily transactions.
This investment comes at a time of significant growth in the stablecoin sector, with more businesses and consumers embracing digital currency solutions as practical alternatives to traditional financial systems.
