Rasmal Ventures, a Qatari venture capital firm founded in 2023, has received funding from the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) as part of its fund-of-funds program.

This funding supports Rasmal’s “Rasmal Innovation Fund 1,” launched in June 2024, which focuses on helping high-performance startups in sectors such as fintech, health tech, AI, and business services software.

The fund is the first to join QIA’s $1 billion program, designed to foster innovative startups.

With the goal of raising $100 million in investments, the fund aims to accelerate the growth of startups and support technological innovation in the region, furthering Qatar’s economic diversification and development.
