Unipal, an edtech startup, has closed its Pre-Series A funding round led by Plus VC, with participation from Aljazira Capital, RZM Investments, Falak Angels, Doha Tech Angels, and other angel investors.
The investment will support Unipal’s expansion into Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, and Khobar, alongside the launch of a new app with enhanced algorithms, offering a Netflix-like experience for users.
Founded in 2020 by Ali Alalawi and Ali Alshaer, Unipal provides a platform offering exclusive discounts and deals for university students.
In July 2023, Unipal secured a $500K follow-on investment from Tanmiya, Flat6Labs, GTS, and angel investors.
