Saudi’s Aya Closes $1.6 Million Seed Funding Round

Aya, a Saudi-based e-commerce startup specializing in fashion, has successfully closed a Seed funding round worth 6 million SAR (approximately $1.6 million).

The round was led by Khwarizmi Ventures, with participation from RAED Ventures, Joa Capital, FENA Holdings, Turki Al Rajhi, and several angel investors.

Founded in 2024 by Munira Alkadi and Abdulrahman Alammar, Aya currently operates an online platform focused on selling abayas, with plans to expand further into the e-commerce fashion market.

Munira Alkadi, Co-Founder of Aya, stated, “This funding round marks a significant step in our journey to strengthen our presence in the e-commerce fashion market. We aim to develop our platform and expand our services to better meet customer needs.”

Abdulrahman Alammar, Co-Founder, added, “We are grateful for the investors’ trust in our vision and growth potential. These funds will help us enhance our technological infrastructure and expand into new markets.”
