Bait AlMunshaat Invests $500K in Five Saudi Startups

Bait AlMunshaat, one of Saudi Arabia’s licensed private business incubators and accelerators, has announced a $500,000 investment in five Saudi technology startups through its Bait AlMunshaat Ventures Fund, allocating $100,000 to each company following their graduation from the fifth cohort of the Atlaq Accelerator.
The investments were made through SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) agreements to support startups at the pre-seed stage and accelerate their growth.
Supporting AI and FinTech Startups
The selected startups include:
- HANDL HUB: An AI-powered platform that analyzes e-commerce store data and provides performance recommendations.
- STOQA: A platform that transforms financial market data into actionable investment insights.
- OFINTECH: An open banking platform that uses AI to connect bank accounts with accounting systems.
- SIGHTI: A platform that transforms traditional surveillance cameras into intelligent operational analytics systems.
- 21 DOCTORS: A cloud platform that helps healthcare providers manage operations and strengthen their digital presence using AI.
The startups operate across artificial intelligence, financial technology, retail technology, and health technology sectors.
Backing Early-Stage Innovation
Bahar Alharbi, Founder and CEO of Bait AlMunshaat and General Partner of Bait AlMunshaat Ventures Fund, said Saudi Arabia is witnessing rapid growth in the number of technology entrepreneurs, while early-stage funding remains one of the biggest challenges.
He added that the Atlaq Accelerator identifies and prepares promising startups, while the fund provides the capital needed to support their expansion both within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
Over 1,400 Applications
The fifth cohort startups were selected from more than 1,400 applications. The accelerator offers seed funding, acceleration programs, mentorship, regulatory support, investor networking opportunities, and digital tools designed to help founders scale their businesses.
Since its launch, the Atlaq Accelerator has graduated more than 100 entrepreneurs across four previous cohorts, while its educational platform serves over 1,200 users.
The Bait AlMunshaat Ventures Fund uses the accelerator as its primary pipeline for identifying investment opportunities, focusing on Saudi technology startups at the pre-seed stage.
