Lenovo and Alat have allocated $2 billion to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing center and a regional headquarters in Riyadh, while Groq plans to create the world’s largest AI inference center.
Databricks has announced a $300 million investment to develop PaaS services, and SambaNova has committed $140 million to enhancing AI infrastructure and launching an advanced language model.
Global tech firms continue to expand their investments in the Kingdom. Salesforce is investing $500 million in building its Hyperforce platform, while Tencent Cloud is preparing to launch the first AI-powered cloud region in the Middle East with a $150 million investment.
Additionally, strategic partnerships with Google Cloud, Qualcomm, and Alibaba Cloud have been announced to support AI technologies and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation.
In the data center sector, KKR, in partnership with GDH, is investing in facilities with a capacity of up to 300 megawatts.
