Tamer El Mahdi is a seasoned telecommunications and technology executive with over 30 years of experience spanning engineering, executive leadership, entrepreneurship, and business transformation. He currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Telecom Egypt, following senior leadership roles at Orascom Telecom, Djezzy, and AT&T, as well as founding technology ventures focused on 5G, FinTech, and consulting. His academic background includes an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master’s in Program Management, and an MBA in International Business.
