Mahmoud Adi is a founding partner of Shorooq Partners, the leading early-stage venture capital firm across the MENAPT region. With over twelve years of global experience in investment and entrepreneurship, he has supported the launch and growth of more than 40 startups in fintech, software, and digital platforms. Adi also played a pivotal role in Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s premier tech ecosystem, helping attract exceptional talent and fostering innovation-driven companies. Beyond venture capital, he serves on the boards of several high-impact startups, including Pure Harvest Smart Farms, NymCard, and Sarwa, providing strategic guidance and mentorship. His leadership is grounded in a Mechanical Engineering degree from The Petroleum Institute – Abu Dhabi and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, combining technical insight with investment expertise. Adi is passionate about empowering founders to build scalable, sustainable companies that create lasting value for the region’s economy and technology ecosystem.
