In the evolving landscape of Saudi Arabia’s insurance sector, the name Eid bin Abdullah Al Nassir stands out as one of the intellectual and professional leaders who have combined strategic expertise, executive practice, and academic contribution.

With over 40 years in the insurance and risk management industry, Al-Nasser has established a pioneering professional school of thought that merges technical analysis, policy formulation, and the development of Arab insurance content.

He began his career at Saudi Aramco, where he held various roles, including: * Acting Manager of Risk, Insurance & Governance * Head of General Insurance Department * Risk Management Team Leader in the Oil Spill Response Team for 10 years * Official representative of the Kingdom at the IOPC Fund * Supervisor of major insurance claims, accident investigations, and large-scale international risk surveys Later, he led United Gulf Cooperative Insurance Company as CEO and General Manager, where he spearheaded transformation, restructuring efforts, and enhanced compliance with financial growth initiatives. He was also appointed as a Consultant to the Insurance Disputes and Violations Committee at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), by Royal Decree and Ministerial Resolution from the Council of Ministers. He previously served as Chairman of the Insurance Committee at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce.
* Founded the first official institute for insurance and risk management education in Saudi Arabia: National Center for Insurance Studies – 1999 * Worked with insurance brokers in the British and American markets in collaboration with Lloyd’s of London experts * Participated in local and international insurance conferences as a lecturer and technical researcher * Co-founded the first professional insurance forum in the Kingdom: Eastern Province Insurance Forum
His influence extended beyond the insurance field into the literary and cultural arena: * Former Chairman and Director of the Society of Culture and Arts in the Eastern Province * Writer and literary critic with publications in newspapers such as Al-Yaum, Okaz, and Al-Watan * Participated in radio interviews and cultural evenings locally and across the Arab world.
