About
Ahmed Bin Sulayem has spent over two decades leading Dubai’s emergence as a global commodities hub. As Executive Chairman and CEO of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), he has overseen landmark projects such as the Almas, Ag, and Au Towers within the 87-tower Jumeirah Lakes Towers development. He also chairs the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) and serves as Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange, while internationally, he has twice chaired the UN’s Kimberley Process, focusing on transparency and digitalisation in the diamond trade. His leadership combines strategic vision with hands-on experience, underpinned by a BA in Management from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB).
