Abdulaziz Alaqel is a seasoned executive with over twenty years of experience leading complex, large-scale development programs across infrastructure, sports, hospitality, and real estate. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Expo 2030 Riyadh, he oversees the strategic planning and execution of one of the Kingdom’s most significant global projects. His career includes senior leadership roles at Qiddiya and nearly two decades in project management at Saudi Aramco, where he developed deep expertise in governance, engineering, risk management, and large-scale delivery. Backed by advanced degrees in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering and executive education from IMD, Alaqel is recognized for translating ambitious visions into structured, high-impact developments.
