Foundation Ventures Launches a New $25 Million Investment Fund to Support Startups in Egypt and Africa

Foundation Ventures, the Egyptian venture capital firm, has announced the launch of its second investment fund, FVFII, with an initial funding of $25 million to support startups in Egypt and Africa.

The fund aims to empower entrepreneurs to expand locally and regionally, with participation from prominent investors such as the Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund (EAEF), MSMEDA, and Egyptian businessman Onsi Sawiris.

Additionally, the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has committed $3 million to support high-growth startups.

Besides funding, Foundation Ventures offers startups access to a vast network of connections, helping them refine their business models before scaling.
