Anthropic and Salesforce have announced an expanded strategic partnership to integrate Claude models into Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform, empowering organizations in highly regulated industries — such as financial services, healthcare, cybersecurity, and life sciences — to harness trusted AI within a secure, compliant environment.
The expanded collaboration introduces three major initiatives:
- Claude as a Preferred Foundational Model via Amazon Bedrock
Claude is now a preferred AI model within Agentforce, enabling regulated industries to leverage Anthropic’s capabilities while keeping data and workloads secure within Salesforce’s Virtual Private Cloud.
Anthropic is the first large language model (LLM) provider fully integrated within the Salesforce trust boundary, ensuring that all Claude traffic remains contained within Salesforce’s environment.
Leading companies such as CrowdStrike and RBC Wealth Management are already using Claude in Agentforce to deliver AI-powered customer experiences.

- Building Industry-Specific AI Solutions
Anthropic and Salesforce are jointly developing AI solutions tailored to specific sectors, starting with financial services. By integrating Claude for Financial Services with Agentforce Financial Services, AI agents can better understand financial instruments, insurance claims, and industry regulations.
These agents can summarize client portfolios, flag regulatory updates, and automate outreach — turning hours of manual work into a single, trusted workflow. - Deepening Claude–Slack Integration
Building on their recent integration, Claude can now access Slack channels, messages, and files through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling users to summarize discussions, extract key decisions, and draft reports.
Users can invoke Claude directly within Slack to analyze documents, perform web searches, or connect insights from Salesforce CRM, Tableau, and other enterprise apps — moving teams from discussion to decision faster.

The collaboration also sees Salesforce deploying Claude Code across its global engineering teams to accelerate development cycles, while Anthropic uses Slack to summarize internal communications and extract insights — showcasing real-world synergy between their ecosystems.
Agentforce powered by Anthropic is available today for select customers, while Claude–Slack bi-directional integrations are already live. Additional regulated industry solutions and Agentforce 360 integrations for Claude are currently under development, with further details to be announced soon.
