His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, launched a new national campaign under the title “UAE: The Global Capital of Entrepreneurship”, with the participation of more than 50 entities from both the public and private sectors. The campaign aims to train and incubate 10,000 Emirati entrepreneurs and provide them with thousands of economic opportunities.
In a post on his official account on X, His Highness stated:
“Brothers and sisters, today we launch a new national campaign under the title ‘UAE: The Global Capital of Entrepreneurship’. The campaign brings together more than 50 public and private entities. Its goal is to train and incubate 10,000 of our young entrepreneurs, provide them with thousands of economic opportunities, and strengthen societal awareness of the importance of benefiting from the economic boom our nation is witnessing.”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid further emphasized:
“Many initiatives will be launched, and we invite all entities and institutions to participate in this campaign and support its objectives. Today, we have fifty business incubators across the country, and our national economy encompasses small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that contribute more than 63% of our non-oil GDP. The UAE also ranks among the top 56 economies worldwide in supporting SMEs and providing them with the best business environment.”
He added:
“Our goal is to encourage more young people to establish their own companies, contribute to the journey of economic development, and seize the vast opportunities offered by our dynamic national economy.”
This campaign marks a major step in strengthening the UAE’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship, empowering young Emiratis to play a central role in shaping the country’s future economy.
