Manama, Bahrain – August 17, 2025 – Spring Ventures Services, supported by Tamkeen, has announced the launch of the 9th cohort of the “Rise: Fundraising Program”, an intensive two-week training initiative designed to equip Bahraini entrepreneurs with the practical skills and knowledge required to attract investments and scale their businesses.
The program focuses on preparing startups to participate in the StartUp Bahrain pitch rounds, offering specialized training in pitch development, business model design, and investor engagement across the MENA region. Participants also benefit from one-on-one advisory sessions and interactive workshops that enhance their readiness for fundraising and long-term growth.
This year’s edition includes 10 Bahraini startups from diverse sectors: Unlabelled, Lamma, Thoubify App, Wajba, Jaras, Sirati, Benyany, FHD Technology, Esbitar, and WeFit.
Since its inception, the Rise program has trained over 115 startups across seven cohorts, preparing them for 16 StartUp Bahrain rounds, which have provided access to investors, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
The initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s 2025 strategic priorities, which emphasize strengthening the competitiveness of Bahraini talent in the private sector, supporting business sustainability and digitization, and fostering a dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Rise continues to serve as a platform that bridges Bahraini entrepreneurs with regional investors, enabling startups to accelerate their growth and play a pivotal role in the Kingdom’s innovation-driven economy.
