Mohanad Al-Badrani, Co-Founder and CEO of BOUK, announced that the platform has successfully closed its first Pre-Seed funding round just days after its official launch—a milestone that reflects strong investor confidence in its business model.

Al-Badrani explained that BOUK is an innovative monthly subscription app that offers users exclusive benefits and discounts at Saudi cafés, providing a smarter and more economical alternative to daily payments. He shared that the idea was born from a real-life, recurring challenge—the lack of cash on hand during urgent purchase moments.

The platform aims to foster customer loyalty to local cafés by building a stable subscriber base that supports small and medium-sized coffee shop revenues. This aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which encourages digital transformation and entrepreneurship in the retail and service sectors.

Al-Badrani confirmed that the funds will be fully utilized to develop the technology, expand partner cafés, and introduce new user perks over the coming months. He also hinted at strategic partnerships and service expansion across several Saudi cities.
