The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has launched the second edition of the Entrepreneurial Glossary in Jumada al-Akhirah 1444 AH / December 2022, as part of its Entrepreneurial Media initiative. This edition aims to promote entrepreneurship culture and provide a comprehensive reference for entrepreneurial terms and concepts.
The glossary includes over 1,500 business-related terms, collected, translated, and defined based on top international sources, and structured in a user-friendly and accessible manner.
Targeting primarily Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs, the glossary balances academic accuracy with practical clarity. It supports both specialists and non-specialists by offering terms aligned with the full entrepreneurship journey, from ideation to marketing and sales, across sections such as:
Innovation & Entrepreneurship | Business Management | Finance & Investment | Administration & Technology | Marketing & Sales | Accounting & Law.
Through this initiative, Monsha’at seeks to enhance awareness among entrepreneurs about key business terms, simplify complex concepts, and offer a rich knowledge base for the startup and SME ecosystem.
