Strategic Partnership Between Trendyol, Baykar, ADQ, and Ant to Develop an Advanced Fintech Platform in Turkey

Trendyol, Turkey’s leading e-commerce platform, Baykar, the world’s largest unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer, ADQ, an active sovereign investor focused on critical infrastructure, and Ant International, a global leader in digital payments and fintech, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the establishment of a strategic venture aimed at developing a next-generation fintech platform for the Turkish market.

Subject to regulatory approvals, the partnership aims to launch a comprehensive financial platform offering a wide range of services including digital payments, retail and SME loans, deposits, investment products, and insurance.

Backed by the partners’ global expertise in artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and financial technology, the venture seeks to enhance the efficiency of financial transactions across Turkey, serving individuals and small businesses both within and beyond the Trendyol ecosystem.

Trendyol Group President, Çağlayan Çetin, stated:
“We believe this unique alliance will accelerate Turkey’s digital transformation and set a leading example for technology-driven financial solutions. Our goal is to empower 250,000 SMEs by providing simplified financial services that support e-commerce and e-export growth, contributing to sustainable national economic development.”

Baykar CEO, Haluk Bayraktar, added:
“Our participation in this partnership aims to add value to Turkey’s fintech ecosystem by combining Baykar’s AI and cybersecurity expertise with Trendyol’s and Ant’s fintech and e-commerce capabilities. We will build a fully local fintech infrastructure focusing on security and risk management.”

Michael Evans, President of Alibaba Group, affirmed the partnership reflects strong confidence in the Turkish market, and will attract promising investments while delivering an innovative digital financial services platform.
