Saudi-based insurtech app YASMINA has successfully raised $2 million in a Seed funding round led by Scene Holding and Access Bridge Ventures, with participation from Arzan Venture Capital and 500 MENA.
The funding will support recruitment, platform development, and expansion plans, with the UAE targeted for entry this year and Egypt in 2026.
Through its growing partnerships, YASMINA aims to provide embedded insurance solutions to over 1.5 million users, including health, car, and home insurance.
YASMINA is the first app in Saudi Arabia to offer home insurance under the regulation of the Saudi Central Bank, promoting the concept of “insure your home in 90 seconds.”
Since securing necessary licenses, the platform has served clients across sectors such as HR, travel, real estate, and automotive.
YASMINA connects seamlessly with insurers, leveraging technology to simplify the integration of insurance offerings into various platforms.
The app was founded in 2023 by Masoud Alhelou and Bashar Abalkhail, with a mission to streamline digital insurance accessibility across the region.
