Tunisian AI-powered software testing startup Thunder Code has raised $9 million in a seed funding round.
The funding will be used to develop products, enhance AI infrastructure, and support global expansion.

The round was led by global venture capital firm Silicon Badia, with participation from Janngo Capital, Titan Seed Fund, and a group of strategic angel investors including Karim Beguir, Roxanne Varza, Quentin de Metz, Guillaume Amblard, and Sebastien Leang.

Thunder Code plans to integrate advanced features such as CI/CD orchestration and AI-driven test planning, aiming to empower development teams worldwide with intelligent automation tools.

Founded in 2025 by serial entrepreneurs Karim Jouini and Jahed Othmani, Thunder Code offers a web-based platform that enables users—regardless of technical background—to create and run automated software tests.

The platform leverages AI agents capable of understanding applications, executing test cases, and autonomously identifying bugs, contributing to a significant boost in software quality assurance (QA) efficiency and innovation.

Commenting on the raise, co-founder and CEO Karim Jouini said:
“Our platform doesn’t just improve QA—it redefines it. By enabling teams to create and run tests using natural language and the most advanced AI agents, we’re setting a new standard for speed, agility, and intelligence in QA.”
