Abu Dhabi, UAE: CPX Holding, the UAE-based cybersecurity powerhouse and a subsidiary of G42, has officially acquired SpiderSilk, a pioneering cyber-AI product company also headquartered in the UAE.
The acquisition combines CPX’s robust threat detection and response capabilities with SpiderSilk’s AI-driven innovations, including the Resonance exposure management platform.
Together, they aim to provide smarter and more agile cybersecurity solutions to tackle today’s complex cyber threats, while accelerating expansion into strategic markets such as North America, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC.

SpiderSilk was founded in 2019 and had raised $9M in November 2023, led by Wa’ed Ventures (Aramco’s VC arm), with STV and Global Ventures. It also secured a $2.25M round in 2021. Its advanced products are used by public and private sector clients across the region.
