The Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council has launched a new grant titled “Business Development Grant for Startups” during the Qatar Web Summit 2025.

The grant aims to support early-stage startups by accelerating innovation and enhancing research and development activities, contributing to sustainable economic growth in Qatar.

Nada Al-Olaqi, Director of Innovation Programs for Development and Experimentation at the Council, emphasized that this initiative represents a pivotal step in providing a supportive environment for startups and small businesses by equipping them with the necessary resources to advance their journey.

The grant aligns with the Council’s vision to drive economic diversification and reduce investment risks associated with technology development, enabling startups to enter markets and accelerate the commercialization of new products and services.
