Egypt’s Fawry Acquires Majority Stakes in Three Tech Firms to Boost Digital Services

Cairo, EgyptFawry, Egypt’s leading fintech company, has announced strategic investments totaling EGP 80 million (approximately $1.5 million) to acquire majority stakes in three local tech firms, Dirac Systems (51%), Virtual CFO (56.6%), and Code Zone (51%).

This move aligns with Fawry’s strategy to expand its digital offerings through its “Fawry Business” platform and solidify its position as a fintech leader.

The acquired companies bring specialized expertise, Dirac Systems offers ERP and business automation solutions, Virtual CFO provides financial and accounting services, and Code Zone develops advanced business management tools for the healthcare sector.

These investments will enable Fawry to deliver integrated solutions, including accounting, HR management, and e-payment systems.
