The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has signed a strategic partnership agreement with HUMAIN, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and specialized in developing advanced artificial intelligence systems. The partnership aims to accelerate Saudi Arabia’s global leadership in AI, ahead of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), which will take place in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025.
This collaboration seeks to expand research and development in human-centered AI technologies and to enhance cooperation between the public and private sectors in building digital ecosystems that foster innovation and a knowledge-based economy.
Tariq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, stated that this partnership with the FII Institute provides an international platform to accelerate the development of responsible AI systems with a tangible human impact. He added that the company will unveil a series of new partnerships and products during FII9, which will help advance the sector to new horizons.
Founded in May 2025, HUMAIN is developing a comprehensive AI ecosystem that includes next-generation data centers, high-performance cloud computing platforms, and multilingual language models, such as ALLAM, one of the world’s leading Arabic multimodal AI models. The company also focuses on transformative AI solutions designed to empower various economic sectors.
